About Bright Beginnings
Colorado Bright Beginnings is empowering parents with the guidance, knowledge and tools to create a bright beginning for their child. The more you know, the further they go.
The PVHS Bright Beginnings program educates parents about their children's development from birth through 36 months.
We provide a framework of local community support, child development education, health and safety, child care information, and health insurance resources to help families succeed. The program is provided during a personal in-home visit or in a small group at various community sites. We'll give you some simple ways to start with a packet of powerful tools.
Annually, 1,400 Larimer County families participate in Bright Beginnings. Nearly 95% of participants feel that Bright Beginnings increased their confidence as parents and stated they will use the education materials they received. Over 85% of participants reported having changed their parenting as a result of the things they learned.
PVHS Bright Beginnings is part of a statewide network of Colorado Bright Beginnings (CBB) programs established in 1995. The mission of CBB is to provide a bright beginning for all Colorado children by helping families support their children's physical, emotional and intellectual development during the critical first three years of life.
