"Anything can look good on the outside ...it's what's inside that counts! MCR has it all from top to bottom. It is what we do inside to provide the world-class healthcare that makes us different.
I have never worked anywhere where the equipment and technology was this advanced. (Charmaine has worked in nine different hospital operating rooms in Canada and the U.S.) The equipment makes my job physically easier which will enable me to nurse longer.
I know my opinion counts. This is an unbelievable place where people truly care about their patients. The staff buys into the vision. I was skeptical at first when I was at orientation because I've heard it before. But I found it was all true. They really do mean what they say."

"I transferred from Poudre Valley Hospital after working as an ED staff nurse for about five years. I was looking to try something new. An educator role came up as an opportunity at MCR at the right time. I've enjoyed building and integrating relationships, orientation schedules and classes.
We were given a blank canvas. We were able to question ideas and how we should do things, really looking and questioning: What is the best way to make this concept a reality?
We continuously have a lot of opportunities to be involved: committees, projects, teaching. If you have a special interest, there is bound to be a way within PVHS to pursue it."
