Poudre Valley Hospital: A Magnet hospital since 2000
The American Nurses Credentialing Center designated Poudre Valley Hospital a Magnet hospital in 2000, the 18th hospital in the nation and the first in Colorado to receive this prestigious designation. PVH was redesignated after rigorous review in 2004 and again in 2009. The designation continues through 2013.
The Magnet designation recognizes excellence in nursing services and is considered the gold standard for nursing practice.
