Question: How do I get a copy of my images and report? Answer: Please call our Archive Center at Poudre Valley Hospital 970.495.8604 or Medical Center of the Rockies 970.624.1400. You will be asked to sign a release of information consent and provide identification at the time you pick up your information.
Question: Can someone else pick up my information for me? Answer: Yes, you may have someone else pick up your information. At the time you call for your imaging record, you will be asked to provide the name and means of identification for the person who will pick up your imaging information. This could be a birth date or social security number. This person will then need to provide our staff with that same information at the time of the pick up.
Question: Why did I receive two bills? Answer: You will receive two separate bills. One is for the technical service provided by the hospital. The second bill is the professional fee from the Radiologist who interpreted the images.
Question: How much will my imaging procedure cost? Do you take my insurance? Answer: To obtain an estimate or to ask any other billing-related questions, please call Poudre Valley Health System Pre-Authorization 970.495.7222.
Question: Can PVHS send the results to more than one healthcare provider? Answer: Yes, Please inform our Imaging staff when you arrive for your procedure.
Question: When will I get results? Answer: Results are available to your doctor or health care provider in 24 to 48 hours, however it may take longer for your healthcare provider to contact you.
Question: Do I need an appointment for this procedure? Answer: That depends on the procedure you are having. General Radiology procedures such as chest X-rays, extremity X-rays, etc., do not need an appointment. Fluoroscopy procedures such as Barium Enemas and Upper GI procedures do require an appointment. MRIs, CTs, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and Interventional procedures require an appointment You may make an appointment by calling our schedulers at Poudre Valley Hospital 970.495.8666 or Medical Center of the Rockies 970.624.1406. As a reminder, all procedures require a healthcare provider's order before they can be scheduled or performed.
