Licensed clinical social workers provide counseling to patients and families at Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies for a variety of psychological and social issues:

• advance directives, such as living wills and medical powers of attorney;
• counseling related to end-of-life issues;
• substance abuse;
• domestic violence; 
• stress management;
• emotional support; and
• referrals to community agencies, including mental health and substance abuse services, and adult and child protection teams.
