Licensed clinical social workers provide counseling to patients and families at Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies for a variety of psychological and social issues:
- crisis intervention;
- advance directives, such as living wills and medical powers of attorney;
- counseling related to end-of-life issues;
- substance abuse;
- domestic violence;
- stress management;
- emotional support; and
- referrals to community agencies, including mental health and substance abuse services, and adult and child protection teams.
