Beating national standards

When you have a heart attack, every second counts. The faster you can receive care, the less damage there is to your heart muscle.

Through the cardiac alert program at Heart Center of the Rockies/ Medical Center of the Rockies, patients having a heart attack get the swift treatment they need.  

Our response times (measured in "door to balloon" times) are nearly twice as fast as the national standard. Door to balloon refers to the time it takes to get you through the hospital doors to a life-saving balloon catheter procedure to clear blockage.
