We highly recommend and encourage patients to regularly attend one of our support groups both before and after surgery. Having the support of others who have gone through the same process can help patients achieve long-term weight-loss success. As our Adolescent Bariatric Program continues to grow, we plan to create an adolescent support group as well.
Light for Life Support Group
Light for Life support group, founded in 1995, is open to anyone who has had weight-loss surgery, including those at other hospitals, or is considering weight-loss surgery.
When: Last Monday of each month at 6 p.m.
Where: Poudre Valley Hospital, Café F
Cost: Free

Living Well After Bariatric Surgery
Living Well After Bariatric Surgery is open to any Northern Colorado Surgical Associates patient who has had or is planning to have weight-loss surgery. It is also open to family members and support people.
When: Second Monday of each month from 6:30 until 8 p.m.
Where: Poudre Valley Hospital, Spring Creek Meeting Room
Cost: $20
