Douglas Faus
Vice president/operations for Medical Center of the Rockies
Doug Faus joined Poudre Valley Health System in January 2006 as Vice president/operations for Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colo.
He has previously served as chief executive officer or administrator of several hospitals and nursing/rehabilitation centers dating back to the early 1990s. Mr. Faus' previous positions include leadership positions at Estes Park Medical Center in Estes Park, Colo., from 2003-2006, Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, Iowa, from 2000-2003, and Liberty County Hospital and Nursing Home in Chester, Mont., from 1996-2000.
Mr. Faus holds a master's degree in healthcare administration awarded by the University of Minnesota as well as a master's degree in business administration from the University of Akron, Ohio. He has Fellow status with the American College of Healthcare Executives. His other professional memberships and service include the HSS board of directors and finance committee. In the past he has served as a board member for a number of organizations in Colorado, Iowa and Montana.
Mr. Faus and his wife, Lisa, have three children.
