Former Colorado State University Rams football coach Sonny Lubick will help Medical Center of the Rockies volunteers kick off the sales of their cookbook next week with a book signing.
Lubick will sign copies of "Dishing It Out" from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 15 in the lower level of Medical Center of the Rockies, 2500 Rocky Mountain Ave. in Loveland. One recipe from Sonny Lubick Steakhouse in Fort Collins -- French onion soup -- is featured in the cookbook.
The book sells for $24 and all proceeds benefit MCR patient, family and volunteer programs in addition to other health system needs.
Cookbooks will be available for sale, and people who have already purchased a cookbook can get it autographed by Lubick.
More than 125 recipes submitted by residents of northern Colorado, MCR volunteers, staff members, local businesses and area producers are featured in the cookbook. The recipes range from appetizers and soups to entrees and desserts.
Cookbooks also can be purchased at MCR's Marketplace gift shop and volunteer office.
