If you are diagnosed with breast cancer, Breast Diagnostic Center radiologists participate in the Poudre Valley Cancer Network to help provide multidisciplinary treatment planning with other cancer care team experts: medical oncologist, surgeon, pathologist, radiation oncologist (if advised) and a patient navigator.
Diagnostic procedures at the Breast Diagnostic Center help the cancer care team to stage the breast cancer to determine treatment plan recommendations. Treatment may consist of radiation, lumpectomy, mastectomy, chemotherapy, biologic therapy and hormone therapy.
The Breast Diagnostic Center remains a part of your cancer care team through treatment and beyond for monitoring your breast health in your survivorship.
